The SeaView Raptor bridges the gap between small inspection-class and large work-class ROVs, able to competently service a wide range of offshore environments and work tasks. SeaView identified a need for a compact ROV with the benefits of the Saab Seaeye Falcon DR, which include ease of mobilization, high data carrying capability and ability to be controlled in cross currents but with the added benefits of a small work class ROV which include higher payload handling capability, vehicle stability and the ability to perform detailed work in higher water currents. The result is our Raptor ROV, which is built around and enhances the abilities of the industry workhorse Seaeye Falcon DR, allowing it to perform functions beyond a small inspection class ROV yet at a size and price point unreachable by large, expensive work class ROVs.
