The Cooperative Institute for Great Lakes Research (CIGLR) upgraded their Little Traverse Bay buoy this season to a shiny new Nexsens CB-250 hull with SeaView’s SVS-603HR wave sensor as part of their instrumentation which also included a Gill GMX-501 weather station and Nexsens TS210 temperature string. Great Lakes buoy data are depended upon by local recreationists, municipalities as well as the scientific community.

Check out the SVS-603HR’s wave statistics and other data on the Great Lakes Observing System’s premiere website Seagull and contact us today to see how the SVS-603HR wave sensor can enhance your lake or ocean-based applications.
