SeaView Systems is announcing a firmware 1.95 update for the industry-leading SVS-603 wave sensor. Enhancements include:
- Directional spectrum output
- SeaView’s new proprietary Mean Noise Filter – improved method for filtering anomalous buoy/mooring induced motion
- Response Amplitude Operator (RAO) – enables modeling of platfor
m in response to waves - Enhanced post-processing capabilities
The SVS-603 Graphical User Interface (603 GUI) functionality has also been improved. The 603 GUI is a valuable tool not only for ease of sensor set-up but for also for quick, visual analysis of the SD card data.
