Dr. Timothy Crandle of SeaView Systems presented at the 2019 IEEE/OES Twelfth Currents, Waves, Turbulence Measurement and Applications Workshop (CWTMA) in San Diego from 10-13 March, 2019. The focus of his presentation highlighted the unique capabilities of SeaView’s SVS-603 wave sensor’s sizable on-board data storage and post-processing of the raw data to examine platform (various sized buoys, AUVs, etc) specifics including their response to wave stimulus, system noise and other considerations such as mooring effects.
